This was the first week I’ve done a bi-weekly update and I like it. It gives a little more flow and passing to the comic. I can experiment a little more and also provide you guys with more ‘shots of Mojo’
But from now on I’ve changed the days I’ll update. Since usually I’m still finishing the comic on Sunday or Wednesday… I’ve changed the official update schedule to Monday and Thursday. That way I can make sure that on the morning of Monday and Thursday, there will be a new comic strip.
I’m really pleased with todays comic. First comic posted on Wednesday, but went rather smooth.
I’m especially happy about the drawing and style… really like it. Also like the background of the kitchen in the first frame, somehow works and sets the mood.
And also just wanted to make use of the huge aquarium, before it was too late
I’m really pleased about the drawing this week. Really love the brush-work, love the hand-drawn text-balloons and think the total comic begins to get it’s own style. Mojo-style
I’ve also (finally) started to work on the styling of the website. It’s still using the default template of ComicPress and it looks awefull… no offence to the ComicPress guys, but it’s just way to default-ish
And the last big news will be this: from now on I will also publish a new comic on Wednesdays… so you all will get your shot of Mojo twice a week… I think I just need deadlines and pressure to perform. And as long as I don’t announce the Wednesday-deadline, I will never draw and feel the need to publish. So from now on, Wednesday there also will be a comic!
The story about the extra life companion/pet continues. If you haven’t read the start, you can check it here.
I think I finally getting the hang of drawing digitally. Last weeks strip I really liked in style and this weeks is even better – if I’m allowed to comment on my own work. I also starting to get a hang on the workflow. Every strip is taking less and less time.
This is also the first time I tried something different with the layout of the strip. I thought it might be nice to add the borders, just to give it a little more body. And this is also the first time I placed the strip on one row.
Well… I would love to hear what you all think of it. Let me know in the comments, please.
