And I’m back to a mixture of drawing digitally and non-digitally. Drawing in Photoshop with my Wacom-pen gives me so much freedom, but I missed the feeling and the fluently of drawing with a pen on real paper. So until I find a way to draw digitally with the feeling of real pen-and-paper (maybe with a Wacom Cintiq?) – I will look for better ways to draw.
This comic was first sketched with pencil on paper, then setup with pencil on the real paper, after that I inked it with my brush-pen and other pens. And then I scanned it in, added the text, moved the images a little around and added some effects. It’s a nice combination, if you ask me. I’m really happy with the end result.
It’s too bad I can’t add any sound effects to the comic, because while drawing this comic I was saying the text out loud… with an evil spooky voice… just like how Mojo would say them…
It was fun and it would’ve been even more fun if you people could have watched with me. Maybe some day… for now my PC can’t handle uploading the video. I’ve tried it once, but my PC got all sluggish and it was impossible to draw.
We are on number 37 already. After doing more-or-less seperate comics until now, I’ve decided to try something new. I’ll try to start a story-line… hopefully that will make it easier for me to come up with jokes. And Ben and Mojo will see other places and meet other people.
Of course we already kinda had the ‘fishes’ story-line… and also a couple of Red Dead Redemption comics… but now I’m gonna try to make it even more a continuous story. So we’ll see.
First I thought this joke wasn’t very appropriate for the Mojo-universe, but after some thoughts I think this kind of behavior perfectly suits Ben
I really think all those women who carry their dogs around look stupid. But yeah, I would do the same with my cats – if they would stay put
This is (by far!) the fastest created comic in the history of Mojo. My neck/shoulder hurt and I can’t sit static for a long period. So this comic was created within 1,5 hour
Usually it takes me more than 3-4 hours – so I’m getting faster every day
