Day In The Park

I might be mistaken, but this might be the first Mojo comic without anybody from the regular cast attending. I sometimes make a comic about a game. but eventually you always see Mojo or Merv sitting there. Had this joke in my head since the moment the guys entered the Matrix, but had to find the right moment - which is now.

It’s Ok, dude. It never would have worked out, anyway. Agent Smith is too high maintenance.

Those Agents do tend to pop out of nowhere.

Glad you guys enjoy this one. After finishing it last night, I got struck by a bolt of self-doubt-lightning and wasn’t sure the joke was funny at all. So it’s good to see all the positive feedback 🙂

Sad thing is he always suspected deep down that Sara would one day become a man, just not that quickly. 🙂

This is great Skar, the joke was pulled off perfectly and awesomely…sort of persomely shall we say. The “…again.” really makes the punch line great.

Thanks for your kind words, Todd. I added the ‘…again’ pretty last minute, but also liked the ring of it 🙂

Anything Matrix related is an instant hit for me. I mean, c’mon, a plank of wood for the lead actor. That’s pure gold material right there.

The Matrix just keeps on being a great source of inspiration and an awesome movie to watch ^^

I can’t put my finger on it, but something is so different about the way you drew these humans compared to Ben, that it feels like an entirely different comic to me.

I like the joke, that’s not it, but my first thought when seeing the strip was that it’s just some filler, unrelated to the Mojo universe. It’s probably just me though, so don’t take it too seriously.

Ah, it’s good to be back from a Mojo-void vacation.

White, I think I know what you mean about the different way I drew the humans. I’m lately trying to redefine the looks of Ben as well. But that’s mostly in his eyes… and since they are still in the Matrix, he wears those damn glasses – so I can’t show his eyes yet 🙂
And it’s great to see you back. Hope you had a nice vacation. And next time, maybe you can bring a Mojo book with you… if I get it finished in time that is 😉

I hate it when my significant other turns into agent Smith!

I know! Finally someone who says it out loud! I was afraid I was the only one having that problem 😛

So funny! And true – sometimes you’re sitting with your partner, chatting innocently, and they say something that makes you feel like you don’t know them…

Hi Phoebe, great to have you stopping by and leaving a comment. And I hope – for your sake – that your partner doesn’t change into an agent sometimes 🙂
