Instant Success

Last Saturday (that's yesterday the time I write this), my back started to hurt, while running on the stairs. I know, I shouldn't run up the stairs anymore on my age (31), but still... sometimes I'm enthusiastic and I forget my age. But all the plans for the weekend changed. I just picked up our new furniture at IKEA and was just about to start constructing them all. But now I could only sit and watch. I did tighten a few screws! But for the most of the time I just sat there and watched my wife and my best friend (who came over to help) construct all the furniture. And also this comic was at stake. This morning I wasn't sure I could do it. And now I've finished it, I'm not sure it was a good idea. Ok. I do have a comic for your pleasure. And I'm also happy with how it turned out. But my back is hurting like shit. Really. I can barelly sit here and type. So let's just call it a day and I talk to you guys later.

  1. What a “Picasso” moment! I hope you feel better soon! 🙂

    1. Thanks mate. It’s getting better now. Still need to strengthen my back.

Hahahaha… they should take pictures of the failed copies and frame that 😀

  2. You need to get those clones a twitter account and get them to up your follower count!

The story about your back sounds familiar. I am 38 and also forget my age. It leads to issues with my back. But, eventually you learn both how to prevent the back issues and how to deal with them. It gets better 🙂

    1. To be honest, I don’t bother about my follower count… it’s the quality that matters, not the quantity 🙂

Guess this is just more a wake up call, to remind me I really need to do some exercises to get in shape 😛

  3. Grab some muscle relaxers and take advantage of the down time. Write a few strips while in the medical haze. LOL

    1. The doctor gave me some muscle relaxers, but they didn’t put me into happy-land. So too bad, I couldn’t do any funny writing 😛

  4. You could get a lot of mileage out of those “failed”copies… ;`)

Have you been to the doctor about your back? Just in case its a aslipped disk? You don’t want that to get any worse… Hope it clears up for you soon!
(and take Wit’s advice, too! lol)

    1. I visited the doctor a week ago and yesterday I went to physiotherapy. They cracked my back front and back… and now it’s a little more loose. Hope to be all 100% within the next couple of weeks.

  5. I’d blame the paper feed. Might want to check the rollers.

    1. Maybe they had the lid slightly opened? Or maybe Merv was not laying straight? Or he forgot to tighten some screws 😛
