The lack of colors is on purpose, I just wanted to try something different. I like how the comic looks full color, but I recently noticed that black-and-white comics really appeal to me even more. Don't know if you guys have discovered it yet, but there is a brand new site in town. It's called Just The First FrameΒ and it does exactly as the name says... it just shows the first frame of a comic and if that intriges you, you can click and view the whole comic. And I noticed that the most comics I clicked, were black-and-white.
I also tried to draw a little simpler. I mean, with less details and stuff. Hope it shows. I really like it - and also like the joke. This is another one which came to me the moment the guys dropped into the Matrix and was just waiting to be drawn :)

I like the B&W comic! Your line work is awesome enough to stand on it’s own:)

Thanks mate. Sometimes I just don’t know if it’s good enough and your comment confirmed my own feeling. Thanks π

Oh, cause all the spoons are bent! HA ha ha! That’s funny! π

I think it’s because there is no spoon.

I thought it was because that stupid bald kid bent all the spoons.

First I was like “huh?”, then I was like “looooool”.
Thanks for the hint.. completely forgot about that quote. Need to rewatch Matrix. Soonest.

I should have added the scene in the blog below the comic. In the future, I will… really thought everybody would know the quote right away :S
And yeah, it was about ‘there is no spoon’ … but if you read it with all the spoons are bend, that’s also fine – whatever makes you laugh ^^

Guess he could always just slurp it from the bowl or order a straw, cause as we all know in the Matrix…there is no spoon. π

I thought everyone would get the ‘there is no spoon’ reference, but not everybody has seen the Matrix or as much as we do π

“Use the spork, Luke!”
Just want to thank you for turning me on to this movie, @Skar. Will watch it as soon as make the time.
Also, Just the First Frame is an excellent resource for strip-style comics!

The Matrix (especially the first one) is a must-watch. So hope you enjoy it ^^
