Going Down

Posted on: July 29th, 2010

Not really a joke today, but maybe you can find some joy in the drawings. I thought it looked nice and you could even smile how Mojo gets more depressed every step. He must have a reason why he got so down, right? Come back Monday to find out.

About the creation: it was funny, I drew this with my newest addition, a Speedball Nib for my dip pen. And it draws awesome. I still have to find some ways to work with the ink. It's now stored in a little bottle and when I ink the comic, I pour some over a bottle cap, so I can easily dip my pen in it. And afterwards I pour the rest of the ink back in the bottle. It works, but it's not the most confinient way of doing it. And I also need to find some way to clean my nibs... I now just rub the nib hard and often with a cloth, but it's not the way to do it - I think.

And another two sidenotes:

1) Next comic is gonna be the 50th already! Damn, it goes fast!
2) Guest-strips are still being appreciated. I've started on my holiday buffer, but every guest-strip would give me some more breathing-space đŸ˜€

I just flipped the drawing and all the steps horizontally so it was going up again, since I felt I can’t sleep when Mojo is that depressed…
